Loader Operator

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience with backhoe operation, mechanical knowledge, and commercial driving. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Duties:

- Operate heavy equipment, including loaders, backhoes, and bulldozers, to construct and maintain construction sites.
- Load and transport materials such as soil, gravel, and stone using loaders and dump trucks.
- Use bulldozers and graders to prepare sites.
- Drive a commercial vehicle to transport personnel and equipment to and from job sites.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure compliance with safety regulations and to identify any potential issues.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Loader Operator or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment and the ability to operate it safely and efficiently.
- Experience with backhoe operation and the ability to use it for digging and trenching.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.

Skills:

- Proficiency in the operation of heavy machinery, including loaders, backhoes, and bulldozers.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Commercial driving experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
