Business Operations Specialist – Production

The Business Operations Specialist - Production (BOS-P) will assist with the company-wide oversight of operational systems, procedures and processes at US Stone Industries.  Specifically, The BOS will serve as the SME (subject matter expert) relevant to US Stone Production Planning and Forecasting.

Job Summary

• Maintain a strong command of the “Production Schedule” application(s) at US Stone as it is built out. 
• Support team members in production scheduling and communication applications.
• Collect and evaluate daily machine metrics and report daily, monthly and yearly metrics to appropriate production management for review.
• Assist in the maintenance of internal documentation, intraweb and file storage. 
• Manage the use and improvement of all systems, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in coordination of various projects and initiatives with dedicated IT partner(s).
• Understand how the Operations Team’s work contributes to company-wide goals.
• Collaborate with Business Operations Manager (BOM) to better understand daily and weekly tasks.
• Uses judgement and discretion to resolve multifaceted questions and problems.
• Contribute to a positive work environment that ensures that all team members work well together, are highly motivated, and feel valued.
